New Fontaine 7000 Series Fifth Wheel Options Now Available

As of April 23, 2025, Kenworth is pleased to announce the availability of new Fontaine 7000 Series heavy-duty top plate fifth wheel options for order.

According to Fontaine, these new options include the following features:

• Long Wheelbase (LWB) Design: This configuration is well-suited for moderate-duty slide assemblies that utilize 2-inch slide increments, offering increased adaptability for various operational needs.
• Increased Capability: The 7000/LWB combination provides a higher Gross Combination Weight (GCW) rating, enhanced durability, and suitability for more demanding applications, including some off-highway usage. This specific combination is rated for GCWs up to 115,000 lbs and allows for off-highway operation of up to 10%.
