Wallwork Truck Center

I was born and raised in San Diego, CA and lived there until I moved to Dallas, TX to attend Northwood University in 2004. I studied there from 2004-2008 and earned a degree in Automotive Marketing and Management; specifically for pursuing a dealership career. My first position with Wallwork was a summer internship in 2006 performing truck reconditioning in what is now Valley Reconditioning Fargo. After graduating college, I began my full time career at Wallwork Truck Center in Fargo’s Parts Department but quickly transferred to our Bismarck, ND location. I spent eight years at that location, four of them as General Manager of all western our western ND locations. I transferred back to Fargo in 2016 to serve as Vice President. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, exercising, NFL football, and reading!

I grew up in the trucking industry and started as a Controller for Wallwork Inc. 20 years ago. I am now the CFO and feel that getting my CPA was my biggest accomplishment in my professional career. I also enjoy spending time with my family and cheering on the NDSU Bison.

The FM area has been home for the majority of my life, however I was fortunate to move to lakes country for 6yrs. I attended Pelican Rapids High School and DL Technical College for Outdoor Power and Snowmobile Technology. I started my retail career in the automotive industry selling cars at the age of 18 transitioning thru many different management roles. 16 yrs. later, I moved to the heavy truck world in 2014. 2019 brought the opportunity of a lifetime, to work alongside some of the most gifted and innovative employees in the industry. I enjoy the lakes- most water sports, snowboarding, snowmobiling, fishing, golf, traveling and time with my family. My wife Kristin and I stay very busy with our 4 amazing children.

I grew up in West Fargo, ND and attended college at NDSCS in Wahpeton, graduating with a 2 year degree in Parts Management. I started out as a Reconditioning Technician at our Valley Recon location and have been with the Wallwork Inc. family of businesses since then. I came to Wallwork due to my father’s long standing employment and relationships seeing first hand that I wanted to be a part of it. After exploring different roles and locations within, I am back residing in West Fargo with my wife and two children as the Corporate Parts Director.

I grew up in Moorhead, MN and have continued to reside there with my wife and 2 sons. My father was a customer of Leo Silbernagel growing up and recommended me to be a Parts Runner fresh out of high school; 32 ½ years later, I am now the Corporate Parts Operations Manager and have gotten to watch young hires move up in the company just like I did which is the most rewarding part of it all.

I grew up on a grain and hog farm outside of Regent, ND. After high school I attended NDSCS and graduated with a 2yr degree in Diesel Technology along with a degree in welding. After college I became a field service tech for 15yrs and then a service manager for 5yrs. Then in the fall of 2019 a great opportunity arose for me to become part of the team here at Wallwork as the service director. I have a strong passion for music and playing guitar, I had the pleasure of playing in a band with some of my best friends for 7 years. I love being outdoors and enjoy coyote, pheasant, and deer hunting. I also greatly enjoy long range precision rifle shooting and reloading. I have a wonderful wife and a wonderful little daughter which we we’re very blessed and fortunate to have!

Alec Johnson was born and raised in Wheaton, MN, growing up in farm country. He attended school in Wheaton until 6th grade. In 2004, Alec’s father and he moved to Moorhead MN. Alec lived in Moorhead until 2008 when he moved back to Wheaton to finish high school. He received his degree in Sales, Management, and Marketing at Moorhead State University in 2012. After graduating he started his automotive career at Corwin Automotive in Sales. Soon he transitioned roles to the Finance Department, then Sales Management. The stars aligned one day, and due to a mutual customer Alec met Don Hawkinson from Wallwork Financial working through a sale. After a nice visit with Don, Alec became very interested in Wallwork Financial. Soon after meeting Don, Alec had the opportunity to join the WFC team. Alec worked as a finance & lease specialist for Wallwork Financial for about a year, when an opportunity arose to get back into the sales side of the business. In 2019, Alec accepted the position of New Truck Sales Manager.
