Variable Speed Fan Now Available With Cummins X15

Kenworth now offers a variable speed fan for X15 engines on T680 and T880 vehicles intended for linehaul, regional haul, pickup and delivery, vocational, and stationary applications.

The fan drive provides fully variable fan speed control.

Compared to the on/off and two-speed fan drives, this option provides improved cooling performance and cooling system component life, and may provide a small improvement in fuel economy.
