Ford Debuts 2020 Super Duty Chassis Cabs

The 2020 lineup of Ford Super Duty chassis cabs features an available all-new 7.3L V-8, as well as a third generation 6.7L Power Stroke V-8 diesel engine, and a 6.2L gas V-8. The 7.3L V-8 is the biggest displacement gas engine in the class, according to Ford, offering 350hp at 3,900 rpm and 486 ft-lb of torque at 3,900 rpm.

An all-new heavy-duty 10 speed Torq-Shift automatic transmission is standard across all engine offerings, with available live drive power takeoff.

This new 10-bolt PTO provision is capable of 300 ft-lbs of stationary torque and comes standard on diesel equipped models.

F-series Super Duty Chassis Cab models include maximum payload of 12,750 pounds, which lets customers mount everything from utility bodies to boom cranes, according to Ford. Vocational customization is simplified with available programmable up-fitter interface module, and drivers appreciate functionality such as available flat under-seat storage.
