LIVE OR WALKING FLOOR® TRAILER – GENESIS®

With Genesis®, the East smooth-sided design offers the maximum combination of payload capacity, durability and operating savings. The aerodynamic design makes the Genesis Live or Walking Floor® trailer easier to operate and reduces fuel consumption.

Proven Hallco® and Keith® floors ensure fast, efficient unloading with specifications matched to your needs. Our sub-frame with an integrated push block is designed for greater durability.

Competitive trailers rely on either a 4-sided tube or a U-shape extrusion (Fig. 3) for subdecking for live-floor support. East uses only the 4-sided tubular subdeck design to support all walking floors (Fig. 4), which is up to 70% stronger than U-shape extrusions.

For walking floors, a U-shaped extrusion lacks in structural support, and can flare out under pressure. When this happens, the UHMW bearings can wear out prematurely, causing the flooring slats to detach. This problem is often not detected until it's too late for an easy repair.

  • Maximum strength side walls are thicker than most competitive models, and posts are continuously welded for greater durability.
  • Unique extruded 7-inch bottom rail allows maximum strength welding of side posts and side wall sheet directly onto the bottom rail before the dirt-shedding wedge plate is added.
